Marriage Enrichment Getaway (MEG) 2023

Welcome,

We are so excited to have you spend the weekend with us this year.  It has been a few years since our last getaway, due to the Pandemic.  Even through those years, the importance of strong marriages never changed. Actually, those few years really tested the strength of many marriages.

MEG 2023 Build it Strong will help couples gain the skills to make their marriages stronger. Identifying integrity compromisers, that threaten the long term communication, intimacy and emotional bond needed to build strong marriages, will be our focus.

We didn’t want to have a weekend getaway without some time for needed recreation. Therefore, we have planned some opportunities for you and your spouse to enjoy each other in a relaxing environment.  For this, we have set aside two days (Yes, you get to take Friday off) for a truly enriching experience!

The Packages

We have designed the weekend with two packages in mind. The Getaway Experience and The One-Day Encounter.

The Getaway Experience is a 2 day weekend event which includes a Welcome Reception and a not-to-be-missed Date Night Dinner  on Friday Evening. On Saturday, the Experience continues with interactive and dynamic workshops along with meals and refreshment breaks.

The One Day Encounter is specifically designed for those who are unable to attend the full weekend

Accommodations

This year we are allowing attendees to secure their own accommodations. However, we have arranged a Special MEG rate with the local Carriage Ridge Resort as well as Horseshoe Resort. Rates start at $165/night for a King Studio Suite. There are also options with other hotels, Bed and Breakfasts and AirBnB’s in the area.
